Just replace "Los Angeles" with "San Diego" :-/

Good luck with those fires, hombre.
Also, it's 92 there right now? It seems that Houston and San Diego have swapped weather this week.

Santa Ana winds are a bitch. But you Texans know about what an asshole a Santa Anna can be ;)
Luckily we live in Point Loma which is pretty much untouchable by wildfires when they happen here.

Your only weakness is that you pretty much only have one road in and out.

Well it's good that your house isn't in the danger zone (cue music).
When the wife and I visited San Dee-ahh-go last September, it was 82 degrees. People were apologizing to us about the "heat wave" they were experiencing (two days before we left Houston, it was 102 with 70% humidity).
Those same people must be melting right now.

The thing is, most of us in the "coastal zone" do not have air conditioning, so it can be especially uncomfortable when we have these Santa Ana winds. Our prevailing wind current is onshore so we never get hot here. All bets are off when the dry Santa Ana winds blow offshore from the desert. At least it's not humid ... I guess.

Yeah, that no air conditioner thing is kind of a bitch up on the mesa where I live right now. I've elected to do as the lizards do and just not move unless I have to until the inds change. Say, did you ever get your car fixed?

Haha, good plan! Luckily, this is our last day of Santa Anas so we'll be cooling off starting tomorrow. You're no where near any of the fires, are you?
Also, which car?
